This electrical products company has been a client of Clare PR for more than 20 years. The brief was to help the company to differentiate its products in a competitive marketplace by communicating the features that raise its range beyond the level of ‘commodity’. Strategically, our role has also included highlighting the UK manufacturing, security of supply, excellent customer support and installed cost advantages the company can offer, thereby demonstrating the tangible operational, installation integrity and labour savings they can provide.

The backbone of the PR campaign has been a mix of installation case studies and voice of the industry pieces, which have enabled us to associate the client’s name with major projects and communicate key product and service messages, accompanied by showpiece photography. This focus on case study content – as both feature articles and new stories – has also enabled us to take the client beyond the electrical and construction press and into vertical sector titles, including local authority, industrial and rail sector titles.

Alongside the case studies, Clare PR has also placed a number of thought leadership pieces for the company, including topics as diverse as BIM, training, and specification advice.
